Associate Material Handler (1540) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

ActivStyle is currently seeking an entry level Warehouse Associate for our Minneapolis location.  The Warehouse Associate will focus on maintaining a clean work environment that enables our Shipping Receiving Operators to be as efficient as possible.
Responsibilities include:
Prepares orders by pulling materials; packing boxes and placing orders in staging area.
Provide general maintenance to keep machines running.
Customer Focus ? Handles customers? requests to provide best customers? satisfaction.
Communication ? Must be able to communicate with all levels of associates within the department.
Safety ? Works in a safe manner at all times, participates in safety training and retraining and reports work related accidents, incidents, and near miss incidents to management immediately.
Maintenance Issues ? Reports equipment issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
Basic safety knowledge (i.e., proper lifting techniques, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must have good computer skills
Must be able to pass background check.
Experience Required
H.S. grad or equivalent
Experience working in Logistics or Warehouse environment required.
